Brexit and Covid-19 Statement

Brexit – International Delivery Information

The UK exited the European Union on 1st January 2021. We are still managing the transition period which means there will be some temporary changes to delivery processes for our international customers. We hope to have this issue resolved as soon as possible.

Customers ordering from an EU country

Order dispatch:

Due to the Brexit Transition, we are experiencing extreme carrier delays when processing international orders as well as additional customs checks being made between the UK and EU. This means that orders outside of the UK may have an additional delay of up to five working days.

Customs & duty:

From 1st January 2021, orders from EU countries with an order value over €150 will be subject to import duty. Carbel UK does not cover import taxes and duties on orders however, we are aware that recently some of our customers have been asked to pay custom charges for parcels under the order value of €150. We apologise for this inconvenience and thank you for your continued support.

We have been monitoring the developing situation regarding Covid-19 across both the UK & word we wanted to update all our valued customers on our current position and address any customer concerns.

We continue to run our online operations and will continue to fulfil orders and dispatches to customers. Our customer service teams are working from home and are available via email and telephone to answer any queries you have.

Our courier partners are working hard to deliver items as normal, however they are dealing with huge increases in items, so we ask that customers allow an extra 24-48 hours for delivery during these difficult times.
